Labyrinth control valve
Labyrinth disc plate multi-stage decompression structure is as shown in figure 3, its core throttling parts is composed of multiple metal platters with labyrinth grooves. After many collisions and turning point during flowing through the labyrinth runner, fluid consumes energy, the flow rate is under control while decompression process step by step.

 
It’s widely used in high temperature and high pressure special occasions ,like nuclear power, power stations and other industries , working medium mostly is superheated steam, also can be liquid medium. Its characteristics are as follows.

1) Bend class of labyrinth runner is the decompression class of labyrinth regulator, generally can be up to more than ten to twenty classes. So labyrinth multi-stage decompression structure is the strongest in common multi-stage decompression regulator, some foreign products can up to 40 40MPa.


2) Excellent resistance to cavitations erosion and anechoic anti-vibration performance, multistage bend labyrinth runner can effectively control the fluid flow rate, avoiding cavitations, noise and vibration, etc.


3) Labyrinth regulator can achieve different flow characteristic adjustment curve by combining different forms of labyrinth disc.


4) Labyrinth disc requires high accuracy of manufacturing, generally is surfacing satellite, which makes it has longer service life, simple installation and maintenance, easy to replace plate.


5) Labyrinth runner requires high cleanliness to the fluid medium, or clog will happen easily.
